Arrival in Marrakech
Flight and check-in at the riad. A first evening in Jemaa el-Fna square, among musicians and stalls.
- Day 2
Marrakech, souks and gardens
A guided visit of the medina, the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle gardens. An afternoon of shopping in the souks.
- Day 3
Towards the Atlas and the gorges
Crossing the High Atlas, the Aït-Ben-Haddou kasbah and the Dadès gorges.
- Day 4
A night in the desert
The Merzouga dunes by camel at sunset, dinner and a night in a Berber tent under a sky of stars.
- Day 5
On to Fes
A long, scenic crossing to Fes, through landscapes that change at every bend.
- Day 6
Fes and the journey home
The medieval medina of Fes, the historic tanneries and a last evening, then the flight home.
