YOURBRAND is a home-care service for the elderly based in Lugano. We were born from a simple belief: growing old in one's own home, surrounded by familiar things and people, is a right and a form of care. Our job is to make it possible, with expertise and with heart.
Our story
It all began with a family experience: the difficulty of finding, for a loved one, someone you could truly trust. From there came the choice to build a different service, where the person comes before the shift, where the face does not change at every visit and where the family is never left alone to decide. Today we are a close-knit team of caregivers, nurses and coordinators, but the spirit is still that of the first day.
The people
Behind every care plan there is a small, close-knit team: the people you actually talk to, who know your story and remain your point of contact over time.
Founder and head of service
She founded YOURBRAND after experiencing first-hand how hard it is to find, for a parent, someone you can trust. She leads the team on the belief that the person always comes before the shift.
Care-plan coordinator
He is the single point of contact for families: he builds the plan, introduces the caregiver and stays a phone call away. The person who holds it all together, calmly and with an eye for detail.
Head of nursing care
A nurse with long home-care experience, she coordinates medical care and the dialogue with treating doctors. She makes sure every service is safe, precise and always shared with the family.
Our caregivers
We choose people carefully, because they are who you entrust your loved one to. Skill and kindness, in equal measure.
Interviews, checked references and a criminal-record extract for every caregiver. Only someone we would trust in our own home comes into yours.
Constant updates on hygiene, mobility, first aid and care of frailty, including dementia. Real skills, not improvised.
Technique can be learned, empathy less so. We look for people who can listen, smile and build a bond. That is what truly helps.
Every caregiver has a coordinator, the nurses and colleagues behind them. No one is alone: that keeps care calm and high-quality, every day.

The cost depends on the services, frequency and hours: that is why we always start from a free assessment and a clear, tailored quote. There are no rigid packages: you pay only for the care you really need, and the plan can adapt over time.
Some health-related services, such as nursing care on medical prescription, are often recognised, in whole or in part, by insurers. The conditions depend on the situation and the cover. We help you find your way and understand what applies in your case, without generic promises.
It is our commitment. We assign a reference caregiver who becomes a familiar face and learns the household routines. In case of absence or illness we guarantee a prepared, introduced replacement with the same handover, so continuity is never broken.
In a medical emergency you must always call 144 first. Our caregivers are trained to handle critical situations, alert the emergency services and inform the family immediately. With the personal alarm, help is also reachable at the press of a single button, day and night.
Of course, and it is often the best choice. You can start with a few hours a week and expand care as needs grow, or reduce it in calmer periods. We review the plan together whenever needed, with full flexibility.
Caregivers and coordinators are bound by confidentiality. Information about the person cared for stays between those directly involved and the family, handled with discretion and in line with data-protection rules. Discretion in the details too, from billing to presence in the home.
