What to do when a loved one passes
These are confusing moments, and it is natural not to know where to begin. Here, simply, are the first steps - but if you prefer, call us and we will tell you, staying on the phone with you.

If the person passed at home, call the family doctor or medical service, who will certify the death. Then you can call us, at any hour.

In hospital or a care home
The facility handles the certification. You need not hurry: when you feel ready, call us and we will coordinate with the staff.

From that moment we handle everything: the transfer of the deceased, the documents, the notices. We explain step by step what will happen.
